Inkubator Books is pleased to announce that Hard Rain from Joshua Harkin will be published on Amazon on October 25, 2026.
There’s something deadly in the water. His name is Frank Ranger.
When Hurricane Harvey hits Houston, drowning the fourth largest city in America, former Marine Frank Ranger joins the desperate rescue effort, pulling strangers from flooded attics and rooftops.
Then a distress call leads him to Rose Davensworth, the daughter of a Texas oil billionaire, who has been taken hostage in her home by looters posing as Texas National Guardsmen.
The leader of this crew owes money to a savage Aryan gang and he sees Rose as a pawn he can use to clear his debt.
With the city underwater, Ranger battles to reach Rose. But delayed by raging floodwaters and hostile National Guard, he arrives too late. She’s already been delivered to her new owners, the formidable Iron Cross Brotherhood.
As a lone operator with no backup, Ranger knows it’s a suicide mission to take them on. He also knows he has no choice.
Through the flooded streets of Houston, justice is coming.
Hard Rain – book 7 in the brilliant action thriller series featuring former Marine Frank Ranger. Perfect for fans of Lee Child, Jason Kasper and David Archer.
